Cox Bottle-Fermented Apple Cider

Cox Bottle-Fermented Apple Cider is made from the apple varieties Cox Orange and Holsteiner Cox – two varieties that complement each other perfectly. One brings a big aroma, sweetness and a little spiciness, the other a razor-sharp acidity. The apples for this product were picked in autumn 2022. The first fermentation took place in steel tanks during the autumn, before the cider was bottled for its second fermentation in March 2023. It then rested on its lees until it was disgorged in April 2025. The long ageing gives the cider its more complex character. The cider has a fruity character, with a fairly big nose and clear notes of tropical fruit, which carry through on the palate, where the acidity harmonises with a finely tuned sweetness. The cider has about 13 grams of sugar, giving it a lovely depth combined with a fantastic mousse. Available to order here.
