A cider made from Belle de Boskoop apples. Belle de Boskoop – thick-skinned, rough and hard. But beneath the surface hides one of Sweden’s best cider apples. The apples were pressed into must, which was then clear-filtered. A small part of the must was transferred to a small fermentation vessel, where yeast was added and the must was fermented into dry apple wine. The dry apple wine was then blended with just the right amount of the remaining must to bring the alcohol content down to 0.5%. Finally, carbonation was added at bottling, where the cider was also bottle-pasteurised. The result is a cider with razor-sharp acidity, elegant sweetness and deep spiciness. The complexity of the apple is beautifully brought out, and the experience becomes an explosion of flavour, lifted by the lively bubbles. Goes well with fresh salads and lighter dishes, and as a party drink and thirst quencher.
