Our Svinaberga orchard sits on the top of a ridge above Stenshuvud National Park, where the conditions are special. The apple trees are hardened by the harsh winter winds from the sea, then caressed by the Österlen summer sun and the mild autumn air. The ridge’s lean soil gives a certain austerity to the taste of the apples grown here: the varieties Greensleeve, Aroma, Holsteiner Cox and Blenheim Orange. All this gives Svinaberga cider its clear and complex character, with a slightly higher, lingering acidity combined with a certain bitterness and astringency. Enjoy it cool.
