Ingrid Marie is an apple variety that ripens in October to November. The variety originates from the island of Funen in Denmark and was originally a cross between Cox Orange and Cox Pomona. Ingrid Marie is one of Sweden’s most popular apples.
The apple’s skin is dark red with light brown dots, and the flesh is yellowish white. The apple is tender, juicy and refreshingly sweet-tart in taste, with a pleasant aroma.
