Responsible Packaging
At Kiviks Musteri, we believe in packaging that does good — both for the drink and for the planet. Through climate‑smart materials and continuous development, we work to ensure that every package can be recycled and used again. This is how we take responsibility, one package at a time.
Recyclable Packaging
We are working towards making all our packaging fully recyclable by 2030. At the same time, we are increasing the share of recycled material used in our existing packaging.
Carton Packaging
Many of our beverages are filled in Tetra Pak carton packaging, made largely from renewable materials. The paper fibres can be recycled up to seven times and are then used for biogas production. This packaging technology allows the products to keep longer without additives or refrigeration, reducing both energy consumption and food waste.
Tethered Caps
To reduce plastic litter, we use tethered caps on our packaging, in line with the EU’s Single‑Use Plastics Directive. The caps remain attached to the package and are easy to open, bend aside, and close again. A small step for the consumer — a big step for the environment.
Glass and Other Packaging
Glass bottles can be recycled an unlimited number of times and require 20% less energy when recycled material is used. In Sweden, over 90% of glass packaging is recycled. We also work to optimise other packaging types, such as bag‑in‑box and pouches, to reduce material use and ensure effective recycling.
